Lions Club of Tavistock
Beer Festival

We try to hold a Beer Festival when there is a big event in Tavistock.

Our last was when we commemorated the Americans' arrival in Tavistock during World War 2.

What a great weekend it was! Thanks to everyone who came and drank our beers, ciders and wines!! Looks like we shall have made around £2,000 for local charities - and had a lot of fun doing so!

Thanks to Liz Lane and the Re-enactment Group as well as the Town Council, for bringing it all together.

We were pleased to provide the funding for the Memorial plaque ithat is now a permanent reminder of the 29th Infantry Division US Army, and the sacrifices they made and the relationship they established with Tavistock.

Next??  - perhaps it's time for the West Country beers and ciders again?
