The Spooky Walk became a great Spooktacular Children’s Party!!
The weather forecast was right and it poured from 5 o'clock on.
So we concentrated all our spookiness on the Community Football Club
We had all the activities as planned – the apple bobbing, the doughnuts, the spooky fruit machine, the spooky costume fancy dress and the lanterns. Big thanks to Mia Aloui for doing party games with spooky music and movement from 4.30 -5.00 and to the great witches who were there because they say they are scared of flying in the wind and the rain and they even gave out sweets! There were lanterns to make and milk bottles to make into spooky lanterns to take home, glowsticks and spooky tattoos.
So thank you to everyone who turned a disaster into a triumph. And we made some money for that wonderful organisation the Children's |Hospice and the lovely people who support them.
